What are CBS O/Os doing...?

Does anyone know what the CBS O/Os will replace "The Larry Elder Show" with? I know that they had purchased the rights for a new Suze Orman project, but production got pushed back until next season.

In the major markets, Warner was trying to put the new Tyra Banks show in the Elder slot, but Viacom didn't bite and Fox-owned stations(with their
younger demos) later bought her show. I belive the new Robin Quivers show from Sony has already been sold to the Tribune group stations. I could be wrong
but that's what I remember reading in Variety.

Word is that Viacom is seriously considering to expand its
double-run strategy in its eight duopoly markets -- taking existing
syndicated programs and running them once on the CBS outlet and again on the UPN channel. They've started doing this with Dr.Phil in some of their major markets and this will likely be spawn to some other syndicated shows they own.

Actually Robin Quivers' new talker won't debut until 2006, but since it was delayed chances are the odds on this one coming to TV is 50/50. Plus Sony and Tribune made a joint venture deal that would give Tribune a stake in syndicated first-run product that would be produced by Sony for their stations[If they were to be picked up by Tribune down the line].

Ok, I missed the push-back item. They were pitching the show
for fall 2005 debut at the NATPE, but that was months ago.

Which kinds of explains why Tribune's WB stations shown the "Bewitched" marathon this past weekend.

In Dallas, KTVT is launching an hour-long 9 a.m. newscast to replace Elder's show. They'll be going head-to-head with Good Morning Texas/News 8 at 9 a.m. on WFAA.
