What are Chicago Radio's Biggest Successes?

Some of the greatest names in broadcasting here. Here's another: Franklyn MacCormack. "How do I love thee?" Others from that era and before: Pierre Andre on WGN, John Herrington on WBBM. And one more, still with us, young at age 78: Dick Orkin, Chickenman's inventor and creator of too many funny ads to mention.

The twenty-year-old 670 The Score - one of the first all-sports stations in the country.
Twenty years later, it seems as if there are over 1,000 sports radio stations.

WSCR was not remotely "one of the first." They went all sports in 1992. WFAN New York changed to the format in 1987, and there were many other format converts in other cities before WSCR took the plunge (on the daytime AM frequency) during that five year gap.

Check out the Webcasting/Internet Streaming board. Lots of folks plug their online stations there. As long as they're not asking for money I see no issue with it.
