What Are the 3 Best Things About Pittsburgh Radio Right Now

Let's focus on the positive. In your opinion, what are the 3 best things about Pittsburgh radio right now?

1} WKVE

2) 620 when they playing music

3) Doo Wop on 770

Also the phone-in quack from Baldwick Road (for entertainment purposes only.....
it makes me feel a whole lot smarter when he does not know the meaning of
terms like Hypothyroidism and I do...)

1...Everyone who made KDKA "Someplace Special" in the 80s' ;D
2...Keith Abrams
3...Trish Beatty ( I do not know if she is still on Pittsburgh Radio. Although, she should be grouped into
number 1, but she will always be someone "extra special") :-[

1. Rush Limbaugh

2. Glenn Beck

3. Quinn & Rose (the #1 morning drive show in Pittsburgh)

Mine are similar
1. that radio geeks are not running the radio stations
2. The evil conservative radio station has the number one morning show in important demos and people can't stand it and wonder why.
3. The Steelers are on!

1. Prehistoric X

2. Vinnie and Cook (moreso Vinnie than Cook)

3. Tony Bruno (if you are lucky enough to be able to get the 970 signal at 10pm, which I am)

Tough question, but let's give it a shot:

(1) WRCT-88.3's Saturday Light Brigade, which may be the only show of its kind, providing a family-friendly variety that is hard to match.

(2) Radio 9, also on WRCT, which blends oldies with a disc jockey presentation that simultaneously is campy and professional.

(3) Rocco DeMaro, who makes Extra Innings worth listening on WPGB-104.7 even for as lousy as the Pirates once again have been this year.
