What are the keys:

To a good Aircheck:

Ive never made one before and Im going for large market. I would really like some advice on what to put in and what to keep out.. I know length wise it shouldn't be longer that 2 minutes.. But I want some professional advice on what I should do.

Thanks:

Sway

How to get into a large market???? Ahhh tell them you'll work cheap. Seems to work for everyone else.

That's actually GREAT advice. I'm serious.

Besides that...make sure you include a few breaks of you doing the basics well.

And Choose breaks that show that you can relate to whatever audience you're trying to hit.

A big drawback from trying to crack a big market without enough experience, you may get a position there, but if your skills aren't there yet, you'll likely be pigeonholed into a certain position based on assumptions on what you can't do. You may improve your skills down the road, but management won't hear it because first impressions last. And if you put together a killer aircheck that is above and beyond your day to day skill level, the new employer will hear it as soon as you hit the air.

The key to putting together an aircheck that will get their attention IS to aircheck. Everyday, period. And listen to yourself, everyday.
