What are This TV's best affilates?

Actually in Milwaukee WDJT-DT3 (one of the network flagships) is competitive in the ratings with WVTV and WCGV, they do pretty well. So well that those two stations no longer program movies except for Saturday and Sunday nights, and it completely killed WVTV's 3am "Bargain Bin B-Movie Theater" (not named that, but that's all it aired ;D).

Oh boy, another one...? ::) Which network is next? I'm a bit surprised no one has said any Spanish-language networks yet.

Anyway, I'm thinking KTLA-DT2 (This TV affiliate in LA) has to be a strong one.

WZMQ has This TV on its DT1 and MyTV on DT2. It had been the Fox as WMQF in Marquette before Equity went belly up and WLUC (Something Special!) stole Fox for its DT2.

WCIU 26.4 Chicago is also another flagship station that's doing well with This TV.

To travisl5678: You wanted to know of any This TV affiliates that haver it on a XX.1 channel, and found the following on th main channel:

WNEG-TV 32.1 Toccola, GA (Atlanta)

KMYU 12.1 (RF 9.1) St George, UT (split time with My Network TV, with This TV being on from 8am - 2pm, & 2pm - 8am for MNT) (RF 9.2 is CBS, but maps to 2.1)

WUOA 23.1 & 23.2 Tuscaloosa, AL (Birmingham, AL) (23.1 is 720p, though the network itself is 480i 4:3 aspect ratio)

WNGS 67.1 & 67.2 Springville, NY (Buffalo, NY)

WFGX 35.1 Fort Walton Beach, FL (Mobile, AL) (splittime with MNT with This TV on from 1am - 7pm & MNT from 7pm - 11am. Also, 35.1 is 720p for MNT)

KCWI-TV 19.1 Ames, IA (Des Moines, IA) (Channel is This TV is the main network, with MNT only occupying the 7 - 9pm timeslot, & is SD, while CW is mapped to 23.1, & 1080i)

KMBY-LD 19.1 Templeton, CA (Monterey, CA) & KYMB-LD 27.1 Monterey, CA

KXKW-LD 32.1 & 32.2 Lafayette, LA (also available in the same market on full power KPLC 7.3 Lake Charles, LA, part of the Lafayette, LA market) (providing this info is correct from rabbitears.info)

WZMQ 19.1 Marquette, MI

K41DE-D 18.1 Cortez, CO (This TV maps to 18.1, while the rest of the remaining network on the physical channel map to 41.X)

WVXF 17.1 CHARLOTTE AMALIE, VI in the US Virgin Islands.

All info I found was from rabbitears.info. Not guaranteein the info, as Trip in VA gets his info from what he finds online, as well as getting info from people who actually watch these stations to give him correct info.

It is. Bear in mind that RabbitEars does not use the Nielsen DMA system and instead generates its own market areas. KPLC is This for the Lake Charles DMA and KLWB is This for the Lafayette DMA, but there is no Lake Charles market in the READS Ranks generated by RabbitEars.

I suspect it's the most reliable source you'll find out there. ;)

Basically, are there any stations that run it on their DT1?

WUOA-23/WVUA-CA 7 Tuscaloosa-Birmingham runs This TV on their main channel...when they're not running old University of Alabama football programming. Then again, since the station is owned by the University of Alabama, one should expect the Crimson focus.

Using pretty a pretty standard antenna you will receive This TV on 4 channels in Lafayette,LA.

KLWB 50.1 (Lafayette) A full 1MW station that only carries This TV since loosing the CW affiliation to KATC
KXKW-LD 32.2 (Lafayette) Sister station to KLWB
WVLA 34.2 (Baton Rouge)
KPLC 7.3 (Lake Charles)

WFGX 35.1 Fort Walton Beach, FL (Mobile, AL) (splittime with MNT with This TV on from 1am - 7pm & MNT from 7pm - 11am.  Also, 35.1 is 720p for MNT)

WFGX-TV actually broadcasts programming from Jewelry Television between 12:00 AM and 6:00 AM Monday through Friday, "Enjoying Everyday Life with Joyce Meyer" at 6:00 AM Monday through Friday instead of "Heathcliff" from ThisTV, paid programming between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM instead of "Spider Riders" and "Magi-Nation" from This TV, "The Maury Povich Show" and "The Jerry Springer Show" between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM and from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM Monday through Friday (except Tuesday night for "The Maury Povich Show" due to WFGX-TV broadcasting "The Law Show", a live local legal advice program, which is rebroadcast by WEAR-TV, an ABC station in Pensacola, Florida, between 1:37 AM and 2:37 AM, since the station does not broadcast "World News Now" live. WFGX-TV and WEAR-TV are both owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group). On Sunday, WFGX-TV broadcasts "The Jerry Springer Show" at 10:00 PM.

WFGX-TV broadcasts "Inside Edition" and "Extra" between 11:00 PM and 12:00 AM Monday through Friday, even though WEAR-TV broadcasts "Extra" at 11:30 AM Monday through Friday and the weekend edition of "Inside Edition" instead of the weekend editions of "World Now Tonight". WFGX-TV broadcasts the weekend edition of "Extra" at 10:00 PM on Saturday and WEAR-TV broadcasts the same program at 11:35 PM on Sunday.

WFGX-TV broadcasts "Bones", "Brothers & Sisters", and "Grey's Anatomy" on Sunday between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, even though WEAR-TV broadcasts "Grey's Anatomy" and "Brothers & Sisters" after the late newscast on Saturday. On Saturday morning, WFGX-TV broadcasts "Gulf Coast Outdoors", a local program, at 5:30 AM, followed by an hour of paid programming, and "Aqua Kids", "Hanna Into the Wild", "Animal Exploration", and "Wild America" between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. The last four programs mentioned are broadcast for the station to be in compliance with the rules regarding educational and informative programming, even though ThisTV provides enough programming for stations to comply with the rules.

During the end credits of the animated cartoons from ThisTV, WFGX-TV interrupts them with station identification graphics (including a whimsical one with the words "Saturday mornings", which have appeared on screen during other days beside Saturday). WFGX-TV usually broadcasts more paid programming if a movie from ThisTV is still in progress after the end of a syndicated program.

Sometimes I wish I had access to WLOX-TV's digital sub-channel for ThisTV, since the station broadcasts all network programming. WFGX-TV's mistreatment of programming does not surprise me, since WEAR-TV mistreats programming from ABC on a regular basis.

The info I got came from rabbitears.info. With this info that you provided, maybe Trip can make the necessary corrections to his info. It actually means This TV is shown even less than the info Trip has.

For the few stations that carry This TV on the main channel isn't alot. This TV was actually created with the intention of being carried on a subchannel. Nothing wrong with carrying This TV (or any network intended for subchannels) being carried on the main channel.

The hours I listed were accurate when WEAR launched This TV. I know some stations have changed it since then; I don't keep up with station schedules and just needed a way to denote that the station was affiliated with both.

That said, I just fixed WFGX to read "This TV" from 12p-7p and "MyN" the rest of the time.

WFGX-TV broadcasts "Elvira's Movie Macabre" from ThisTV on Sunday beginning at 11:00 PM before broadcasting programming from Jewelry Television at 1:00 AM.
