What are you still listening to?

OK, so we talk about how bad it's gotten, corporate radio, syndicated/voicetracking, etc etc....but I'm sure most of us still listen to the radio, even a little. When you listen to regular AM/FM, what do you listen to?

My favorite listening choices, even though I scan around to most everything:

Greenville - 90.1 WEPR, 92.5 WESC, B93.7 WFBC (not much)

Columbia - B106.7 WTCB, Magic 98.5, 97.5 WCOS

Greenville/Spartanburg - Magic 98.9, My 102.5, B93.7, Kiss 95.1 (Charlotte)

Columbia - 104.7 WNOK, Magic 98.5, 107.5 The Game, 104.3 WBBQ (Augusta)

Normally I would be listening to our station WLRE on 96.3 but they picked today to work on the powersupply for the transmitter and I end up sick in bed left lung hurting and conjection like crazy. I tried listening to WCOS this morning but after three different sets of commericals 7 to 12 min long and one song in between each set, off went the radio I had enough.

Lowcountry:

106.1 WFXH
106.9 WGZR
103.1 WGZO
93.7 WALI
98.1 WYBB
and my favorite:

105.3 WRHQ in Savannah

I live in Little River, SC and I listen to:

WRNN Hot Talk 99.5

WJXY 93.9 The Team- ESPN Radio

WGNI 102.7 in Wilmington

Jammin' 99 in Wilimington(Can't remember the call letters)

WNMB 900 AM.

Other than those, it's SIRIUS for me!

Forgot about My 102 and Magic, I listen to them some but not as much lately with the "continuous Christmas", I only listen to that when I'm in the Christmas mood...

In Fort Mill/Indian Land area---WRBK/90.3 (Richburg) and WFAE/90.7 (Charlotte) plus any and everything on line though no particular favorite.

I ahve been listening to 94.3 WWNQ and 89.7 WMHK for my Christmas fix, but have to be in the mood or otherwise I am just listening to my Christmas cd's.

What does WLOW sound like these days? It used to be good, but things have changed and no one has posted about it lately.

I should mention I can pick up Big 98.3 occasionally. Although it's Country Legends 98.3 I'm trying to hear.

My favorite S.C. statons are WEZV, WAVO and WMUU.

WLOW is a softer AC, with personality, but it is definitely not as good as it was when it was standards. They have the same boring production guy that WXLY had in the late 90's, but they sound better than most of the AC's around the rest of the state.

They still have CNN news at the top of the hour often, and air local news from WSAV every weeknight at 6 o'clock.

Big has a great signal, coming from S of Savannah, you can hear it in Myrtle Beach on a hot summer day.

Stations I listen to frequently from James Island: 105.5 WCOO
WXLY 102.5 (very boring AC, you can almost predict the next song)
WRFQ 104.5,
WTMA
910 the Team, and that's about it from Charleston.

DX/other markets: WTCB (one of the best soft rock stations in the nation, IMO, with great personalities who connect with community)
107.5 the Game (sometimes, when up in Columbia area)
Big 98
98.7 the River (when they aren't playing Christmas)
Sunny 105.9 from Orlando (during summer, comes in many afternoons and evenings, good oldies format)

I remember picking up 105.9 from Orlando in the car in Myrtle Beach. It was "classic hits" before most station used the term. So was WXLY.

After the time I spent working in this market, I hate to admit that now I'm usually a Sirius listener...
In order:
S66 (Christian Contemporary)
S6 (sixties) - although since the merger, I am NOT thrilled about all the DJ crap-talk on this channel, and I let them know it!!! Just PLAY THE MUSIC!!
S7 (seventies)
S8 (eighties)
The only local stations I tune to sometimes are:
WYRD FM
My 102.5
Magic 98.9
WROQ FM (JB&B AM's only)

I don't travel much, but when I do, it's usually Sirius... And Christmas programming pushed me even harder toward Sirius. Magic989 and My1025 haven't had any play in my car in over a month!

Happy New Year. This reminds me of when I was a 'ESC during the '70's recession. We all took a 10% pay cut so our owner could keep his Park Avenue apartment! Ah, the good ole days before Clear Channel :)

In MB:

ESPN Radio "The Team" 93.9/93.7/1050AM
Wave 104.1
106.5 The Coyote
107.9 The Gator

I don't listen to commercial radio at home, unless there's a game of interest on The Team (95% of the time - it's a CCU game I'm not attending). For music, I hit "random play" on the WMP and enjoy some of the 3,000+ songs I've ripped. I guess it's my version of "Randy-FM". George Strait-Jethro Tull-No Doubt-New Order-Fleetwood Mac-Sugarland-Audioslave-Jimmy Buffett...you get the idea.
