Ironically (or perhaps unironically), I listen to some hardcore gangster rap from the 90’s from time to time. I think my appreciation for the movie “Office Space” inspired me to like a lot of the 90’s rap artists. However, I don’t listen to any modern rap or have any interest in it. Same goes for hip hop or anything else.
Bubble Gum music. Yummy Yummy Yummy I Got Love in my Tummy by Ohio Express. Beg Borrow and Steal ect. Also Jim Stafford " Spiders and Snakes" Western Swing by Spade Cooley, but my wife hates that.
I wish I knew where someone posted about "Der Kommissar" by After the Fire (I don't know if I ever heard Falco). I had not heard it in years when the local oldies station happened to play it. I heard it numerous times in college and for only the second time in many years in the grocery store today.
I listen to almost anything and my wife tolerates it but she will not deal with punk or surf music. Since I have to listen to those in private, I guess they are guilty pleasures.
