WHAT ARE YOUR PET PEEVE(s)?

One more: Copy shoved under your nose at the last second (usually a news sponsor at the top of the hour) for a live 60 second spot. The copy has perhaps only 5 words on it, something like " SALE SALE SALE AT....!!" and a footnote scribbled at the bottom that says "talk it up"..

@Bean ... I'm concerned that attention to detail is only going to continue to slide as people at stations are expected to do more and more as jobs get sandwiched together. Common sense dictates that as you divide ONE person to multiple responsibilities the responsibilities get the (one divided by number of jobs) share of attention --- or the person tries to do all of them well and burns out VERY quickly and moves on. It's one of the factors that the "suits" either don't recognize or just ignore.

Seattle Observer good work. We need people like you who keep the copy up to date, read ready, and sponsors in the copy book. So you must have some pet peeves from your work station...

Here's another -

Stations that brag about something like "40 minutes of uninterrupted music" only to interrupt with a sweeper every other song to remind us that ... the music is uninterrupted.

Or even worse, 40 min of music an hour, and 20 min of commercials!!
