What are your pre-sets

Yep there are HD-3s and HD-4s. Not sure how many HD-4s there are however.

I don't have an HD Radio, but I know of 2 stations here in Connecticut that have an HD-3 that they use to simulcast an AM.

WDRC-FM: Hartford (Buckley)

102.9 HD1 - Classic Hits of the 60s/70s/80s
102.9 HD2 - 50/60s Oldies
102.9 HD3 - The Talk of Connecticut (WDRC AM 1360)

WKCI-FM New Haven (CC)

101.3 HD1 CHR
101.3 HD2 Dance Music (Club Phusion?)
101.3 HD3 - News/Talk (WELI AM 960)

WX4ESPN Bristol (Experimentally Licensed Station)

98.1 HD1 ESPN Radio
98.1 HD2 ESPN Deportes
98.3 HD3 Alternates between the 4 (formerly 5) ESPN O&O stations.

XM:

Symphony Hall
Symphony Pops
Classic Radio
Watercolors
Coffee House
CNBC
CNN

FM WQED
WDUQ
WJPA
WKWK

AM KDKA
WWVA
WJAS
KQV

1) WLTJ-HD3 (We Will Rock Q, Classic Rock)
2) WRRK-HD2 (Bob's B-Sides, 1960's 1970's)
3) WLTJ-HD2 (Q in the City, urban AC)
4) WRRK-HD3 (Bob's Malt Shop, All 50's music)
5) WLTJ-HD4 (Respect Radio, All Women, All The Time)
6) WRRK-HD4 (Yinz Radio Wed & Thur, Mash Mix Mondays & Tues, & TV Themes Friday and all Weekend)

I was in Columbus recently where some local FM was stunting with that all-TV Themes format.
Did not know it was an HD staple. Just a little too weird for my tastes.

Let's see, The radio in my 57' Chevy is of course AM and here are my button choices:

1) WARO 2:00 - 6:00 Zeke Jackson
2) WWSW "The Golden Hour" 7:00 - 8:00 PM Then Sundays 9:00 Pm Collectors Corner with Dwight Kapple
3) WAMO After school listen to the "Bossman" Porky Chedwick
3) KDKA 30 @ 6 with Bill Steinbach then Party Line At 7:00
4) WEEP(WYRE) The latest top 40 & R&B with Perry Marshal & Sir Walter
5) WRYT Limelight or Carousel (Ed Price)
6) KQV Hal Murry in the morning, Henry Debecco (mid), Daddy Dave Scott (aft), Larry Aiken or Chuck Brinkman
(Had to switch to my GE 6 transistor radio so I could listen to Jolly Jim McGlaughlin (the allnight satellite) 12:00 till whenever I fel asleep)
7) WZUM with Al "G", Bro. Matt, Bouncin' Bobby Bennett, Bob Mack then Mad Mike

Let's see, I only would have had five buttons on my car radio, so I think my choices would have been ...

WEDO 810 ... CBS Radio Network.
WAMO 860 ... I'd honk for Porky while driving down Eighth Avenue.
KDKA 1020 ... Program PM and Party Line.
WMCK 1360 ... Some DJ from the mid-Mon Valley named Terry Lee.
KQV 1410 ... ABC Radio Network.

Possible alternates would be WWSW 970 or NBC Radio's WJAS 1320.

When I was a student at Ohio University ;D (1972-1976) the 5 bottons on my AM radio were

900 WVWA Nine! :D (actually 88 WRFD)
970 WATH ;D
1050 WADC :D
1340 WOUB
1390 WMPO....There Buddy! (or switched to 1450 WPAR)
???

FM:

95.3-WJPA
102.5-WDVE
93.7-KDKA
107.1 -WHJB
101.9-WVAQ Morgantown(Good also for when I head north picking up WRBP-Youngstown/Hubbard,Ohio)
91.9-WCAL

FM 2:(I use mainly when I'm up in Clarion,Pa)
92.7-WCCR(Clarion)
91.7-WCUC(Clarion)

104.1-WPXZ(Punxsutawney)

770-WKFB
810-WEDO
1020-KDKA
1320-WJAS
1410-KQV

I don't have that many-

On FM-

WDVE
BOB
The Fan
104.7

Those are the big four.

Then, it's a battle between 105.9 for the Penguins and possibly to hear what Mark Madden is rambling about.
3WS- because sometimes when DVE and BOB are in commercial or playing something boring they will have on a rock song worth listening to. But I try not to put this on a pre-set because it makes me feel so damn old to do so.
107.9 or Froggy- But I really haven't listened to any country music for five years. When Toby Keith- who I really liked- started trying to rap- that did it for me.

On AM, I keep 970 on for Stan Savran and Tony Bruno.
I might have 660, but it's for the night when I can get WFAN. I also like WTAM at 1100 with the Cleveland Indians and Mike Trivisonno, though the latter can rarely be heard at night.
1170- because sometimes Michael Savage can give me a shot in the arm that the Pirates pregame can't.
KDKA- Because at 6 a.m. on a Sunday morning or so I find Rob Pratte to be far more interesting than the public issue shows one must have by law.

There aren't many. I think the first was CBS Radio putting its out of town sports talkers (NYC, Boston, Philly) on WJFK-FM in the Washington DC market.

Here not terribly far from Pittsburgh, WKSU-FM 89.7 (Kent OH) puts an all-news stream on HD4. HD2 is classical, and HD3 is the locally produced and well regarded Folk Alley (www.folkalley.com).

WKSU puts HD on all of its full power stations, so parts of PA might have a shot at WKSV/89.1 Thompson OH (not far from Ashtabula). Well, they might, except that the IBOC carrier might not make it that far east...

In recent years, a church assembly would put me close enough that I might try some of that. I'm at least in the Youngstown-New Castle range in that case. I wasn't named to it this year and it's in the Mon Valley instead of Greenville, so I'll have to wait for another day.

I frequently will change a pre-set to check out a change in format or other alteration in the airwaves. So, ever briefly, I was using 660 and 770. Made a couple other changes but the list now looks like this ...

AM1: 1020, scan for 1080 day, 1060 night
1410
590, scan for 570 day
910, scan for 860 or 810 day
970
1360, scan for 1320

FM1: 99.7, scan for 100.1
94.5, scan for 94.1
103.1
97.5
107.1, scan for 106.7
103.9

FM2: no change, 101.5, 104.7, 90.5, 93.7, 98.3, 89.3

These were on the '64 Pontiac (AM only) and were a no-brainer since there were only 5 buttons and Pittsburgh only had 5 fulltimers with full market day and night coverage:

970 WWSW
1020 KDKA
1250 WRYT (WTAE)
1320 WJAS
1410 KQV

Since we frequently spent the summer in Virginia, I'd reset them like this:

790 WTAR
1140 WRVA
1230 WNOR
1310 WGH
1490 WVEC

By the way, at night, both WWSW and KQV were regularly heard in the Tidewater area (as well as KDKA, of course).

Maybe it's because I am in the business but I go in order, lowest to highest, so I also never got this "P1" stuff since I hardly ever listen to my P1s but they're in P1 because they're the lowest frequency.

AM 570 970 1020 1320 1360 1410

FM1 92.9 93.7 94.5 95.5 96.9 99.7

FM2 100.7 102.5 104.3 104.7 105.9 107.9
