Proof that people simply do not care for "Listen Up," "The Michael Richards Show," "The New Adventures Of Old Christine," and quite possibly, even "The Marriage Ref."

Beyond that, none of the stars of that show have seen any real professional success since the end of Seinfeld. Most have tried and failed at their own respective fledgling series' (Old Christine excepted - though not by that much); Jerry has had some other ventures that flopped (like B Movie).

And then we have Michael Richards......

Luckily for all, the residuals keep rolling in so none will ever starve and all will be fairly comfortable for a long, long time.

But if you look at the article it says:

Co-stars Jason Alexander, Michael Richards and Julia Louis-Dreyfus have a portion of the revenues from sales of "Seinfeld" DVDs -- something they held out for in contract negotiations for the series' final season. But not the show's syndication money.

That isn't a curse, and it's not so unusual as most actors don't share in rerun residuals in perpetuity.

I hardly think have a TV series for four seasons, however sucessful or unsuccessful qualifies "...Christine" as a failure. Sure it was not a howling success but it held it's own and would've done better had it remained on Mondays. "King of Queens," held it's own on Wednesdays but didn't set the world on fire either. When it moved back to Mondays it did very well again.
