We play some of those song on Jammin 181 (181.fm)

I love Mandola-The Flvour..... But like Edgier said,, most those are Jammin Oldies,, Classic r&b records... some are pretty good, but most are from the 70s and early 80s... KTU probably still plays some of those, but their more Classic Dance-Rhythmic AC now.... some of the Rhythmic AC stations may play some but not all of those as well. Try Jammin 181 like Edger said,, and also try Movin 94.5 Myrtle Beach, and Jammin 99.9 Wilmington NC... I dont care for those stations, but you just might....

'KTU never played these, except for "So Many Men", "Macho Man", "Deputy Of Love", "YMCA" and "Mandolay"

98.7 KISS FM may be the place to hit up in New York for some of these tracks, being that a lot of them leaned towards the urban contemporary side. Great tracks BTW! :)

I know Kiss 98 plays Kano-Im Ready as a Gold flashback... Tony is right,,,, maybe a Classic Soul or Urban AC is what you need to look into.... They are good songs,,, the ones ive heard,,, except So many men and YMCA,,,, ok,,, YMCA is ok if your drunk enough... but they would sound outta place on a dance station these days... In the 80s,,, Power 96 Miami, and Power 106 LA did play some of those as SUPER FLASHBACKS.... but that was 23 yrs ago, they were old then.. hehe......

KAJM could be considered Classic Rhythmic Dance, since its Rhythmic Oldies..... No Modern Dance station will play these unless its a 2009 remix,,, heck, most dance stations wont play a song from 2 or 3 yrs ago, just like most CHRs..... Dance is so disposable,,,, most dance heard today wont be on Classic dance stations in 20-30 yrs, or even 5 yrs.... I dont mean that in a bad way, but todays dance genre's and styles from each country and U.S City is so fragmented,,,, its all dance music, but like Soft Rock and POP Rock, and Metal, it isnt the same genre or the same crowd into it....

Mega 104.3 (KAJM) plays these in rotation:

I'm Ready - Kano
You're The One For Me "D" Train
Mandolay - La Flavour
Never Too Much - Luther Vandross

the following, I will put in the mix occasionally.. every M-F at noon:

Keep On/Walk On By - "D" Train
Let's Start The Dance - Hamilton Bohannon
Do You Wanna Funk / Mighty Real - Sylvester
I Don't Wanna Lose Your Love - The Emotions
So Many Men, So Little Time - Miquel Brown
A Lover's Holiday / The Glow Of Love - Change

I like Sylivester,, he was ahead of his time,,, sounded like 80s Hi NRG more than Disco,,, you should spin Born To Be Alive if you dont already,,, it was ahead of its time too, and is still a classic... Does KAJM play any Freestyle anymore since Movin is avoiding it, and Energy is gone????????

Yes we rotate a bit of freestyle and I feature it more so in the mix. Sylvester was the 70's Rupaul! But yes, the sound was the birth of electronic music in my book...along with Patrick Hernandez, and Donna Summer (Georgio Morodor). All these kids write off disco, but it was early house music...hands down. the beat patterns, arrangements, and energy.
