What did I hear?!?

I was sitting in my car today just off Newberry Road in Newberry, punching around the dial and landed on 106.5

They were playing Ne-Yo "Miss Independent", after the song the voice girl said either HITS 106 or MIX 106.

I couldn't really tell which.

After poking around online, I haven't been able to find a "HITS" or "MIX" 106 that was playing Ne-Yo around 1:30.

Anyone know what I may have heard?

Well here in North Florida there is a Hitz 106 on 106.5 out of Port St. Joe Apalachicola Florida Top40 WOCY-FM. Oyster Radio sister station.

That station is a flamethrower around here. Around Live Oak in the mornings it regularly walks all over Lake City's WCJX!

WOCY-FM is 100,000 watts station and WCJX-FM is 3,800 watts station
Still a pretty good trick since I'm about 22 miles from the WCJX tower and WOCY is a good 3 hour drive from here. ;D
