For awhile I was hearing what sounded like a childs voice repeating numbers in spanish over and over again... Signal went off air at 3:45 AM.... Numbers station Perhaps????

I been hearing alot of weird stuff between 6000 and 7000

Sounds like the Cuban numbers station that operates in that area... they have no respect for the "pirate" band!

Child's voice? Do they have children working for the numbers stations? Well, that's a good way to learn your 1,2,3's. ;D

More than likely a spoof pirate broadcast. Maybe just someone testing/tuning-up their transmitter.
I am almost sure V2 (spanish number station) does 6955 and not often.
Anything between 6800 to 6950 is almost always US based pirates if what you are hearing
is in question.
Back logging both freeradioforums.tk and FRN.net didn't turn up any info.
There are a few pirates on 6933.
It would help if you specify whether it was AM, USB or LSB.

From my brief knowledge: numbers stations are also known as "spy" stations. The station in question will broadcast usually a male or female reading groups of numbers - these number groups are correlated by the person receiving them and contain info for their respective agents. Those interested in clandestine stations can shed considerable info- more so than me!
And I believe you're right Darklife on it being a pirate spoofing the "Cuban numbers lady".
