What do DXers listen to....

1330 KGRG-1 (old school grunge and alternative) while working out during mornings on weekends or afternoons.
1600 KVRI Ferndale/Blaine (South Asian) during early morning while writing.
1560 KZIZ sometimes has great music during the morning.
KIRO-FM 97.3 and sometimes 570 KVI in the mornings, depending on subject matter (talk & news)
Sometimes KUOW 94.9 on weekends.
KING-FM Seattle (classical) rarely.
I used to listen to Rock 98.9 KVRQ till they obliterated it. They had an excellent choice of rock.
KISW 99.9 now and then (active rock)
KBKS 106.1 for pop, now and then
KNND 107,7 -- has a pretty good mix of alternative rock but I'm not always in the mood for it.
KBRE 1660 Merced when it is coming in -- excellent choice of rock.
KJRB 790 when it comes in (sort of rare, actually). Good choice of rock.
CBU 690 (CBC) rarely, I used to listen to it almost daily. Some of their programs are excellent.

I don't DX much anymore, just listen.

'B97 Classic hits' KNWB 97.1, 'The Wave' KHBC 92.7, 'Lava' classic rock KBGX 105.3, 'KAPA Radio Home of Hawaii's Music' KAPA 100.3, 'The Beat' 95.9 KPVS

And the two classic hits stations actually play good variety, especially Lava 105.3, and not the same old rotation of worn out songs you get tired of hearing that too many stations think we like to hear.

Outside of dxing, I listen to the radio somewhat but i'm more into using Spotify because it has my exact music playlists the way I want them.
I'll listen to WPRO in Providence sometimes because it's not as far right as some of the broadcasters and If the power is out, i'll listen to more talk radio because I have nothing better to do.
Music wise, I'll listen to 106.5 WBMW when it's awesome 80s weekends and 104.3 which is a translator for 1180 WSKP out of Hope Valley Ri that plays 60s, 70s and 80s music.
It's hard for me because I can't stand Adult Contemporary because it's mostly modern music or songs i'm tired of hearing from years past and the Top 40 stuff because it's awful in my opinion. I also enjoy rap but WZMX out of Hartford CT is becoming more of a Top-40 station. This is why Spotify is used by me in the car mostly. If i'm on vacation though, I do listen to radio mostly.
