Are you saying that radio can't be funny and stay fine-free? I would call that a chronic lack of creativity. C'mon now...the medium has survived worse crises than this, and come out on top. It has survived because of creative people. Will it do so again? Only the creative minds have that answer.
The manager at the station where I work says there won't be any more remote broadcasts until he can get a delay machine. That also stops broadcasts of high school ball games where people have screamed words that somebody could complain about. I don't think he's looking too hard for one because now he doesn't have to pay people to do the broadcasts that didn't make enough to pay for themselves. But he can blame all of it on The FCC. He saves more money because he had to pay somebody to be at the studio when the games were on and now it's all voice tracked. One guy got laid off. Is he the only cheap owner? Is he the worst? Or is this just the way it's gonna be?
