I like it mostly, but listen to it as a podcast so that I can skip the tracks that don't do it for me. I've been turned on to quite a few artists that I didn't know before that I went on to purchase. I can't say that for radio today.
This isn't going to appeal to 95% of radio listeners, though, as only songs that have high recognition seem to count. This goes the opposite way. It's too bad really, because this kind of radio, that you could find more frequently 25+ years ago even on commercial stations (wow, it's been bad for awhile) is all but gone. I guess this is why KFOG puts it on in radio wasteland (Sunday evening), and other markets mostly Sunday morning.
I just wish the host (Luke?) would talk in a smoother, normal way, rather than in the choppy way that he does. Listen to the first episode online -- his voice flows a lot better.
