What do you think of KSBR-FM?

KSBR is a good non-profit smooth-jazz, and Classic Jazz Station From OC. It competes against 94.7 The Wave and it tends to have a better Playlist than the WAVE

I have enjoyed KSBR's programming since 2000. The station has a more diverse playlist, and features artists that commercial smooth jazz stations once played but now ignore (such as Michael Franks and Joe Sample ).

Their specialty programs are also worth a listen. In the late evenings and overnights they offer a chill/groove show called "The Session" and on weekend mornings offer a new age program called "Morning Breeze."

KKSF in San Francisco used to do Latin Jazz/Classic Jazz Sunday Evenings and KKSf did Sunday Morning New Age back in the 1990's. Now the Sunday Morning New Age moved to a World Class Rock station KFOG and KCSM does a 24-hour Classic Jazz and Latin Jazz format.

I have to say, I listened to it tonight for about an hour, and it appears to be extremely well-programmed. Reminds me a little of the old WTMD 89.7 FM (Towson University) when they had their NAC format. It's a shame they don't broadcast from KTWV's tower. Kudos to the folks at Saddleback College. They have a nice product.

I live here in San Francisco but I found this station Online when KKSF removed their smooth jazz format. I found out this is way better than KSSJ, and KJZY here in Norcal
