I'm not a fan of the Panic Channel song. The rest looks great though.

The song wore on me after about 2 weeks of hearing it.

Not bad. You would have lost me on the first three songs (hate Panic, burning on Killers, despise the new DCFC), but everything else is very solid. I would have placed an edgier song in the first group for continuity purposes. Good to see Thursday and Placebo up there - I think a lot of people are sleeping on those bands.

I agree with you on Thursday and Placebo, this week im bumping them up in rotation because our listeners love them.

If you're an interent radio station, why are you trying to sound like a cookie-cutter over-the-air "alternative" station? Don't get me wrong, I think it's cool you guys are doing some internet radio. It's fun, and a great way to learn how to do things, but there's some seriously lame corporate rock here that's already getting too many spins on over-the-air radio. If you're on the web, why not make your tastes and ability to discern the music attraction and be a real alternative to everyone else's over-the-air "alternative" station? Why would I dial up on-line what I can already hear too much of over the air?

Really...Panic At the Disco, Thursday, Three Days Grace, Snow Patrol, My Chemical Romance...if you really like these finely-polished, slick, loud-with-nothing-to-say bands, okay, but why not play some cool alternative rock instead of this corporate junk and sensitive-guy-at-the-prom muzak. It's just so disposable, it might as well be Journey. Don't let your sense of taste or brains be watered down by what you think you SHOULD be playing. Believe me, the guys in Panic At the Disco don't need any more help, and in another year or so, they'll be gone the way of Linkin Park (who?). Where's Clap Your Hands Say Yeah? Or the Black Keys? Or Hank Williams III? This is great, edgy, kickass alternative rock that some stations are airing, while most are content to play whatever dreck My Checmical Romance coughs up. I mean...does anyone need more of the Killers? Do you really LIKE them? What are you passionate about?

For what it's worth, you've got some really good artists here too...the Decemberists, the Dresden Dolls, Placebo, Cursive...you've got a set of ears which seem to work, so trust your gut more instead of aping what the "pros" are doing. Go deeper on the Raconteurs, go deeper on Thom Yorke...these are acts with roots in the format I think your listeners will trust you on if you lead them to good songs off their respective albums.

Good luck.

Thanks man. We have been playing Panic! at the Disco since last July when they still had demos online. Your are right we do play a shitload of Corprate stuff. We do also play Hank Williams III and Clap Your Hands Say that. Thanks for your comments this really helps me put our playlist together.
