What do you think Old School 94.5 should start with @ 5pm Friday

There is a stream in this flash player with ends with the .mp3 or other media player type extension but I can't find it. Someone?

Radio One has long hidden the links to their actual stream inside the Flash player. I've never been able to find them, and none of the stream aggregating sites I've seen have valid addresses for them. You might want to try TuneIn.com and see if they have an address. I know they have a link for my iPhone.

Wow, bringing back Skip Murphy and Company would get me listening! That would be a nice brushback move against the cross-town Dallas competitors. Too bad though for TJMS losing his hometown market but 94.5 needs to be freshened up.

I would have a hard time thinking Radio One would move Joyner(which R1 owns) out of any market on a station that they own.

Text just went out "We R now Old School 94.5. Hear everything from Zapp 2 Luther Vandross! Text 945 and your fav old school song to 80185 and we'll play it!"

Maybe Skip Murphy and Company will be the afternoon show? I think if TJMS stays there should be some enhanced local content for the Dallas market.

Worth noting as well, that TJMS was moved off of Radio One owned WMOJ in Cincinnati. Anyway, this should be interesting. Station has horrible ratings and needs a shakeup.

And the song is Sam Cooke, a Change is Gonna Come. Now we will see exactly how much change at KSOC.

That would truly be something if they were reading this board and actually paying attention to what us radio fanatics have to say ;D

Yeah, I agree. Competition only makes u better. Terri Thomas programs The Box & Praise down there & also My92.7 here in Charlotte. The Box is #1 in Houston, but 92.7 is getting killed, their numbers are way down there. Somebody could seriously make some money in Houston, & it wouldn't be hard...they're #1 by default & default only.

Reminds me of V100's launch. Now if its true that Joyner is gone, how did that happen?

Tom is not gone. Skip is taking Baisden's spot. I know he's gone. His services was too expensive.

I thought Baisden was a barter deal. Will SMaC work in the afternoons?

We'll wait & see. Skip Murphy & how many people on his staff? U know Radio One is cheap as hell, they're not about to put a whole lot of money into anything.

It's no Mojo.. Actualluy - it sucks. They will NEVER hit 4.4 like in Cincy if they don't expand the paylist.Make it fun... mix in some Sheila E, Bowie, Madonna... This sounds like the Oasis and KRNB had a kid. ::) :-\ :'(
