What do you want to hear more of??

The wife (boss/chairman of the board) made a, errrrr, suggestion that I mention in the WCIN thread that Nora Jones is pretty good too. So, because she allows me to spend a little time on the computer reading the boards & blogs I figured it would be a good idea to follow her instructions.

But, I also figured it would work better as a new thread.

I know every time I use my head I get kicked in the a$$. However, I thought it would be interesting to see what others think. So here goes.

What would you like to hear more of the radio? NOT what you would like to hear less of. What artists/information/formats do you like & would to hear more often or in more places?

Here's my list:
WCIN: Norah Jones (duh); REAL Jazz (dare I hope for some Cannonball?)
WDJO: more instrumentals
WLW: REAL in-depth news, why not run the "week in review" program they air on the other CC stations?
WCKY: more interviews with the GM ala the weekly visits with O'Brien (I loved counting how many times he would say requisite in a single half-hour)
WVXU: more BBC, why not start it at 10PM?
WOFX: more Beatles; more Santana
WSWD: more REM
WGRR: more "golden" oldies
WUBE: more female artists like JoDee Messina and Tricia Yearwood

That's about it for the stations I listen to and sample - what about you?

Won't list all but

WDJO or WGRR..more Motown and R&B Oldies
WSWD..sorry but the original Mojo coming back...which can't possibly happen

Shifting to Dayton..

WZLR...Classic hits the way WCBS-FM does them

Here my list:

WGTZ-adding a little more spice to Z-93 ala "Wild 93.9" in Lima
WHIO-FM-why a simulcast of AM-1290? (and wants to move to Sharonville? Senseless!) Miss "Kool 95" and its oldies.
WSWO-LP(and translator)-an audiostream on the net so we can listen to oldies too now that Cool Bobby B is back on!
WDAO-an audiostream as well.
WPTW-my mother in law says Joe Neves sounds to cocky on the air...she also wished for it to bring back Reds baseball.
WULM-just simply needs a miracle! Was it ever sold?

AM-1080 in Sidney..silent since the directional tower fell in November storm in 2000...supposededly WOAP (1080 in Owosso,Michigan) wanted to move xmtr to Lansing area but they're off the air too! can this frequency make a comeback in a new location CP if WOAP never comes back on the air?

AM-1030 in Union City, OH/IN-Whatever happened here?...and why? Was only on for roughly a year or so in the 90s then poof!...gone!

1030 was paid to go silent by a far-suburban Chicago area signal (WNWI I think) so it could increase power.
Of course I miss Kool 95. I can understand the reason for the WHIO simulcast...better coverage and bringing the demographics down to make it more sellable. Sharonville....there's some kind of signal trade happening somewhere.
