Is Citadel doing better radio here in Providence? Probably not but when it comes to people who've been on the air 10 years or more in the market and are actually WELL KNOWN
CITADEL
Giovanni
Tanya
Davey
Jones
Jefferds
Art Spencer
Ron St Pierre
Did I miss anyone?
CLEAR CHANNEL
Paul and Al counted as one person

Contract non renewals on Wampanoag too but it's handled in a kinder gentler way with the listeners feelings in mind too.

I have no 'F-ing clue how Tanya has lasted so long. That voice is grating. Ron St. Pierre does a good job at reading Commercials. The guy has a good delivery. Charles is Good too. I wish his talk show on HJJ would have worked out. I think he would be great with his own morning show if they could find a compatible female co-host. Paul and Al are just Stale.

Giovanni is the KING of Pro-FM. He has been there forever and he just belongs. Glad he's there. Jefferds has probably worn the most hats and has been here the longest. He gets the longevity prize. Davey, Jones and Spencer have all done a fine job over the years as well. Nothing spectacular, but admirable in my opinion.

To Sum it all up...... Providence has mostly average talent. I don't see any Salty Brine's in the bunch..... But it could be worse.

They know to hire good P.D.s . Thats why Paul Giamarco is there.
A steady hand at the helm. What a management f--- HJJ is.

;)

I completely agree about Charlie Jefferds.

He's definitely one of the best on-air and production talents in Rhode Island! 8)

Paul Giammarco, hands down the best in the business.
