What does Delilah do for the Lite?

I can't believe that Delilah is doing that much better than JJ Kennedy did. I know that Premiere is a CC unit, but does that make it manditory for all CC AC stations to clear her product? It seems to me that Mr. Ryan has made at least one miss-step (lose Lite-fm, then put it back), could scheduling his own music and requiring Delilah's peeps to fill in the blanks be the other one?

I can't believe the music that is played between 8 and 1. Nothing is less romantic/touching/sentimental/memorable...et al.

How long do you think she'll last at (the now new again) Lite?

She will last as long as she works for cc. And she will last as long as cc feels that they don't need a live and local show on past 7:00PM.

I tried giving Delilah's "New York edition" a listen and couldn't stomach it. I used to like listening to her show when stations like WHUD in Westchester used to carry her, though.

I still miss JJ Kennedy and her "the sun has set over the Carter Hotel" opening. It's those little bits -- those details -- that remind you that you're listening to a local station. It's all about the flavor. :-\

Not a fan of the format, but JJ Kennedy was fine and resonated with New Yorkers. Delilah doesn't, even with a customized edition, she just doesn't have a New York sensibility.
