What does WSYB NOW stand for? "Dead Air"

Well...well...well...how much dead air can one station have? WSYB was off the air last night for 9-NINE-solid hours last night...perhaps the Marble Boy forgot that people only listen when there's something on?

Is it me or has there been more silence than EVER since Pamal took over?

We Serve You Best, or We Silence Your Broadcast?
Was in New Britain CT last night at Rock Cats game and there was a period of about 3 min of dead
air on WDRC, doing game, after one spot ran between innings, and then another silent spot later. Either a tech snafu or
the old board-op-had-to-go-to-bathroom-really-bad...

Does this explain why I heard nothing on 97.1 last night around 11 PM? I can usually pick them up in Chittenden County in my car. Interestingly, I couldn't pick up WORK either.

Have heard lots, and I mean lots of dead air, during Red Sox broadcasts on WSYB lately. Isn't "Mr. Marbles" the self annointed WSYB program director supposed to be on top of this stuff ?
