Weekending after the aforementioned Scott Cook Sundays on Lite Rock 105 so you can catch them back-to-back Sundays. Also does Metro Traffic. You'll hear him midays for that.

> Brad Pierce and Rick Everett remember from the JB 105 days?

Rick Everett programs WCTK & shows up once in a while subbing mornings

Remember Bill Silver and Al Norman from the old Bill & Al morning show from years and years ago?? I'm pretty sure they were on the old JB105. I mentioned them in the thread from a few days ago entitled Radio Listening Memories (or something like that). This had to be the early 80s maybe? Or late seventies?? Either way, I was much younger.

Eventally, Bill Silver left and was replaced by another Bill (dont recall the last name) in the station's attempt to keep the "Bill and Al" brand alive. The new Bill sounded KINDA like Bill Silver but it wasnt the same.

As mentioned by the previous poster, Brad Pierce and Rick Everett were around too.

How about Mike Waite? Wasnt he a JB105-er as well??

Rick OB left HJY and went to WRX (former classic rock)
TJ Knapp went to New York
don't know where they are now thow.

Big John Bina sometimes teaches radio at New England Tech. He was teaching it two quarters ago...I'm not sure about this current one. I start radio classes in the next quarter. If he ends up being my teacher, I'll let him know about this site...I see a lot of people asking about him.

Mike Waite is GM at NextMedia's AC in Wilmington, Delaware. Before I returned to Miami (where I am now), Mike was a colleague of mine at NextMedia where I served as Director Of Top 40 Programming based in the Carolinas. I also stay in touch with some former mentors of mine while growing up and listening to JB and PRO...

Remember...
*Gary Berkowitz (President, Brekowitz Radio Consulting)
*Rod West (President of TuneEdge, the company that puts Invasion production library through Premiere)
*Magic Mark Anthony (Mornings at Star in Knoxville)
*Rocky Allen (Afternoons WPLJ, NY)

Tony Banks (DJ formerly known as TJ Napp)

Yes & I've heard him at times on Mix in Boston too. Good jock & very much missed on the Providence radio airwaves.

Steve York is the same guy. He also worked at WZOU, the Eagle, and Worcester's 14Q (WFTQ, now WVEI)

Larry Kruger at one point was doing Saturday mornings at Oldies 103.3 but I don't think he's there anymore. Ed Cherbino does afternoon news at WTKK. I met him once down the Cape with his wife. Nice guy!

The "new" Bill was Bill Kelly. They went to Miami around '82 as Kelly & Klein. Last I knew they were on the west coast. Yes they were on JB105.
