WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO KRBE's CLAY GISH?

Rut-roh!!!

Do all DJs end up as Wal-Mart greeters or switching sexes? :D

WOW........ I worked with brother Clay, and I had no idea at all.

Evidently his 1st three wives didnt either....so dont be surprised! (you never really know someone until you live with them....found that out thanks to my ex wives and one psycho ex fiance....who became a ghost hunter in Galveston but is back up north now...still as nuts as ever from what I hear)

I used to work for Clay at KRBE. During that time I played golf with him a couple of times. He was a really good golfer. He may have gone through this change just so he can now use the ladies tee boxes. That would make his handicap, already low, even lower. Best wishes to him and hit 'em straight and long Clay. Well, maybe straight and long is not the correct phrase, hit them in the proper direction for the optimum distance.

He changed sexes to play golf? Am I missing something here?

One thing about Clay, he won many awards for picking "the hits" -Lots of Gold Records. But then again he played everything that ever came out including many stiffs and turntable hits.

Yes, but didn't most program Directors in the 70's play those turntable hits for promotional favors.

Does anybody think that it is worth getting a bus and heading up to Knoxville to catch Clay's comedy act?
