Amazing you can pick up 1440 AM from the Phoenix area all the way in San Diego. That station is on flea power at night.

I'm sure you can DX it pretty easily if the sun has already set well before they turn down the power for the night.

Riverside/San Bernardino has got to have the absolute worst AM facilities of any separate top 100 market in the US. For the last three or four years, the local AMs have averaged about a 0.3 share.
