What Happen To The Oasis

What happen to New Mexico's 103 Oasis? All websites are down. I have been directed to Radio.com Oasis in Dallas Texas with no hosts. Their Facebook page is still up but not too active.

I don't know the answer, but some small stations, impacted by the increases in digital royalty payments, have ceased streaming. You might email the station and ask. Don Davis is the owner.

"Not just a radio station, it's a lifestyle." KOAZ 1510 Isleta, NM, a suburb of Albuquerque. On air, it calls itself "Albuquerque's adult alternative, The Oasis." 5,000 watts days, but only 25 watts at night. While listening, it sounds like KOAZ has a good amount of local advertisers.

Translator at 103.7. The Oasis website also lists 95.9 as a spot on the dial, although Radio-Locator.com says that's a translator of Sports station 610 KNML. Instead, Radio Locator lists 106.3 as a translator, in Taos, NM, a resort city about 100 miles northeast of Albuquerque.

I believe 95.9 ABQ is // KNML. 95.9 Santa Fe is // KOAZ with (IIRC) local ads for Santa Fe. Great variety of music. They have added some AC-type stuff - recently I heard Colbie Calliat's 'Bubbly' and a few others considered Adult Contemporary, but 90% of their music is still smooth jazz/smooth R&B.
