what happen to v103

fear channel really mess up v103 when they got rid of two my jocks one in midday and at nite also wgci is really bad radio.
 
Cuts cuts cuts! Happend across the board in Clear Channel. WGCI sounds like crap overnights, they've had VT'ing from New Orleans, Detroit, and Philly. Play music, dont say the station call letters or nothing, and no listener interaction. The ONLY positive with WGCI is the new morning show.

But both stations let go many of our favorites and they are a shadow of what they used to be. Shame, in such a large market. I could imagine if we wasnt a top 10 but once again localism is not as important as the bottom line. Even tho WGCI is one of the highest billers, they always say the urban station never has a budget. Yea sure, ... Pimpin at its best.

Clear Channel must have done some cuts a few years back too, cuz remember when Wale Muhammad was on?

Yeah, I remember Wali very well. From what I heard, he is now working at WVLI (95.1 The Valley) in Kankakee.
