What happend to Karsatos

Budget cut? Just a guess. Bannister was already on staff for the Wolfes doing OSU Women's BBall, Wittenberg, Destroyers. Maybe they thought they could save a penny or two.

Or maybe Karsatos bailed out and Bannister was a last minute addition?

They must've had to make room for an Arena League quarterback on the payroll. I agree, it makes much more sense to take away a former OSU QB and replace him with a former Otterbein QB on the home of the Buckeyes... who made that decision? Probably the same person who thought it was a good idea to get rid of Dan Patrick for even more Speilman!
 
Knowing how tight-lipped the Powers That Be at 'BNS like their announcers to be, I would speculate - and that's all it is - that Big Jim is a goner because, at times, he would actually - GASP - question play calls by OSU.

I mean, what would Karsatos know about play-calling @ the NCAA Div. 1 level ? He was only the starting QB at Ohio State for a couple of seasons.

That - not allowing show hosts to express opinions - is why the ratings at 1460 are miserable. But the Wolfe's simply don't care........... they make SO much money w/ the Dispatch & 'BNS-TV, it probably benefits them to operate the radio stations @ loss.
