What happened on KORL 101.1 last weekend

Last weekend (August 8 & 9), Hawaii's Smooth Jazz KORL 101.1 was referencing KUHI (106.5) in Haiku, Maui. That made me wonder if KUHI was really simulcasting KORL FM. KUHI briefly simulcasted KORL FM on Saturday afternoon (August 8). On Monday, August 10, KORL FM removed its reference to KUHI. This tells me that KUHI's simulcasting of KORL FM was not meant to be. Can someone explain the future of KUHI? Thanks.
 
An LMA is now in place between KUHI/Big Island Broadcasting and H. Hawaii Media. What you heard earlier was a test to make sure all the technical pieces were in place for the full-time simulcast of KORL-FM by KUHI, which began yesterday morning. (Monday, 08/24/09)
