What happened to 88.7 (WJFR)

Flipping through the radio dial the last few days, I noticed that WJFR (88.7 FM) was off the air. I want to know the reason why they are off the air. Is it because of transmitter or equipment problems or financial difficulties? This station has been on the air for over 20 years and it is part of the Family Radio national religious network. I know that most people really don't pay attention to noncommerical stations on the left end of the dial but I am just curious about the current status of this station.

I guess the reason why 88.7 FM was off the air was because of equipment or transmitter problems because the station is now back on the air.

Although I started this post 7 years ago, WJFR has been either off the air or on reduced power for several months (since at least late July 2016) now due to technical issues with the transmitter, which should've been fixed by now. I want to know if Family Radio, the owner of this station, is having financial problems that prevent them from making the necessary repairs so they can return on the air at the full, FCC-authorized power of 8 kW (107m HAAT).
