What happened to 95.9 The River on Sunday?

Had the radio on while outside working and was getting this weird solid gold like format which didn't sound like The River, quite clearly.

Turns out it was WEFM from Michigan City. At first I thought it was just tropo skip, but when it would fade out, it was just snow, not The River coming back in. And it wasn't just on my garage radio, it was on the radios in two other vehicles.

So did they have problems?

How far out are you from River’s transmitter?

~20miles in Elgin. ~15 from my other house in West Chicago. And it was out at both.

So I don't see how it's a distance thing.
