What happened to 970 Brandon?

On daytime, rim shot AM...not wise to speculate.....best to wait and see....and I don't like that...but so be it! JBI

The FM translator was working normally the last I checked. I seldom listen since they switched to rap. AM stations seem to get overlooked when they add an FM translator even when the AM has more coverage. I'm not a fan but I noticed that they added the Russ Parr morning show on 970/99.1.

970/99.1 were off the air this morning. They must be having real problems.

By the way is the station still owned by Ken Rainey? Web site says that it is a Titan Broadcating station and someone else is listed as the owner.

Some days the AM is working and the FM is not. Other days I've heard the FM and not the AM. The audio on the FM station sounds terrible like Supertalk used to sound, low bit rate. However it's better than it used to be. Lately, the FM translator is being hammered by 99.1 in the Delta, reducing its coverage to only a few miles. The AM usually sounds OK but not perfect. Too many noisy power lines. Both stations could probally use some tweaking but I doubt they would want to spend any money on a 350 watt AM station.

As far as I know, they are still affiliated with 87.7 FM. Which is also dead air, or suffering audio problems some of the time.
