What happened to 99.5?

Last week I was looking at stations and was going to put on WAOL, but it appears that station doesn't exist anymore. The website doesn't exist anymore and when typed into wikipedia, WAOL redirects to WOXY-FM. What's going on?

WAOL was sold to Dreamcatcher Communications who owns WRAC. They do not have a website for Max FM any longer for some reason.

WAOL is coming in great in Fairfield tonight. I like the music a lot better now.

3 stations have disappeared that no one has mentioned.

WLHS went dark. I think I remember them reaching a deal to simulcast WMKV. It must be in the works.

The 94.5 repeater for WNKU is off. It's been down for a few weeks. I guess 89.7, 105.9, and 910 is enough.

Rewind shut down HD a few weeks ago, and took with it The Sound HD-2. I miss that one. :'(

Well I guess I started something, but as I don't live in that area I wouldn't have noticed any of those changes. Radio has been pretty boring out here in Seattle.

They have a silent STA on the books because they lost their tower site. It was on a water tower that is apparently being decommissioned and taken down.

They applied for a main studio waiver several months back to run WLHS from the WMKV studios but it was denied.

Huh, I always assumed they were on the cell tower that's right next to the water tower.
