What has become of AM 1380 in Little Rock?? I noticed on radio-locator that it is no longer listed. I was in L.R. just a few months back and it was on with ESPN radio. Anyone have any details???
 
Here's what Tom Taylor's reporting on his 12/29 e-mail News roundup:

Onetime kids-radio pioneer KDXE, Little Rock (1380) falls silent.

... has “suspended operations due to financial reasons.” It’s asking permission to remain dark for 180 days and says it’s “currently seeking business alternatives to resume the station’s operations speedily.” What’s behind that? The apparently-cratered $675,000 deal to sell KDXE to Little Rock’s AHB Inc. That was filed in early July but never closed.

I knew a guy that worked over there and he said the lady that Simmons Media LMA'ed it to decided to turn it to a Spanish station because it wasn't making any money. But I have no idea, what's going on with it now. They still have their ESPN website up.
