Here's what Tom Taylor's reporting on his 12/29 e-mail News roundup:
Onetime kids-radio pioneer KDXE, Little Rock (1380) falls silent.
... has “suspended operations due to financial reasons.” It’s asking permission to remain dark for 180 days and says it’s “currently seeking business alternatives to resume the station’s operations speedily.” What’s behind that? The apparently-cratered $675,000 deal to sell KDXE to Little Rock’s AHB Inc. That was filed in early July but never closed.
Since Tom is 'family,' not sure how much of this will be edited out. But you can probably catch it all on the Radio-Info News page.
