What happened to Asian FM?

91.3 in Galveston county has been no more for a while. When it was on air, it was Asian FM - a station that played, well, Asian music. I'm assuming it was a pirate. The signal was strong on 96 in League City area.

Another Asian FM outlet on the same frequency was (supposedly) in west Harris County, licensed to Barker. FCC info: http://www.fcc.gov/fcc-bin/fmq?list=0&facid=93460

Website hasn't been updated in ages, so not surprised they have disappeared. I'm not in a location covered by either signal.

Did you read about Emmis leasing its HD2 signals for these kinds of ethnic services in Los Angeles? Houston would be a perfect market for this kind of arrangement.

KTON in belton carries their programming i think. i found them in searches and someone told me it was a simulcast of a houston station
