What happened to Ed Schultz?

I turned on channel 165 today at 2:pM central time to hear the Ed Schultz show and it wasn't on. Instead I heard Dave Ramsey. Has Ed been dropped from the lineup?

Ed has moved to 152 and is on from 4pm-5pm ET. I for one am very ticked off about this.

I don't like this either. I liked having Ed Schultz and Randi Rodes on at the same time. They're both good. If one wasn't talking about something I was interested at the moment the other one was. We'll probably get them on terestrial radio here in Nashville when hell freezes over.

Aw c'mon....you mean there's no room for Eddie and Randi on WLAC? Maybe they could stream them simultaneously. ;D

Air America Radio feeds Randi Rhodes live from 3pm to 6pm Eastern time,
Jones Radio feeds Ed Schultz live from 3pm to 6pm Eastern time.
Most progressive talk stations take Big Ed live and delay Randi.
Randi ends up airing from 6pm to 9pm (or sometimes 7pm to 10pm) in the East - not good.
In the West, she ends up in PM drive, 3pm to 6pm - not bad.
In any case, this gives Randi one more thing about which to be unhappy and she has been known to take on-air shots at Ed Schultz. Probably most listeners don't get what the problem is because Ed and Randi are on the same station and these listeners don't realize the shows come from competing syndicators.
The real loser is AAR's early evening programming (now Rachel Maddow) which does not get aired at all in many markets.

Meanwhile XM is busy wheeling and dealing with Air America Radio and giving short shrift to Jones Radio programming; subscribers are the losers.
