What happened to John & Ken on WOR?

One of WOR's only worthwhile shows has been replaced for the past two nights by someone named Bill Clark. Horrible! Nothing original to say ... lousy callers left babbling for too long ... he sounds like a teenager who keeps saying, "you know, you know, you know." Is this another attempt at pandering to the youth market? It's worse than college radio. What is Clear Channel thinking? Hope this is temporary.

Probably time off for John and Ken. A lot of people were off the this past week. I noticed they don't use Rocky Allen or Ron Kuby anymore. I would love to hear a general interest show late at night. George Norry and Clyde Lewis have their followers, but they are not my cup of tea.

John & Ken are back ... sort of. For the past few nights the first WOR hour (the simulcast last KFI hour) has both John and Ken. Then the second WOR hour (exclusive to WOR) is John only.

What gives? Ken wants to leave early? CC is cutting costs and figures nobody will notice? What?

They could take their Q104.3 afternoon drive jock Ken Dashow and have him co-host the hour alongside John. Then they can still call it "The John And Ken Show." ::)

Wadio says >>>For the past few nights the first WOR hour (the simulcast last KFI hour) has both John and Ken. Then the second WOR hour (exclusive to WOR) is John only. What gives? Ken wants to leave early? <<<

Yeah, I've been wondering about that too. John tells us it's the John & Ken show, but he's really by himself. Ken is only there when they're broadcasting to Los Angeles, for the first four hours. WOR simulcasts the last hour of their KFI show. Then they do a fifth hour for New York only, but lately Ken isn't there for that last hour.

Odd.
