What happened to K.M. Richards?

He had mentioned in one of his last posts before disappearing that he'd been having some health problem, IIRC related to his eyesight. It could be that all the reading and responding to the various topics and threads was causing him eyestrain and interfering with his actual day job. Or, things might have gotten a lot busier at his Eighties Channel, he might have gotten a new contract with a multiple-station owner which is keeping him busy booting up the format in multiple new markets. (I have no inside information, just informed speculation.)
