What happened to Kat Country?

A couple of weeks ago I was hearing "97.1 QMG, Smooth R&B and classic soul" where Kat Country was supposed to be. I never pick up that station. I only pick up Kat Country and WKBC.

And instead of 96.1 the Beat this past weekend, Iwas picking up what I believe to be 96 Rock in Raleigh, though it could have been 96.3 ROV too. I forgot to wait around for a station ID. That's not unusual.
 
In other ways...what happend to Ken Bukner on Kat Country? And who's this guy they got now? Sounds like a cheap knock off of what they had.
