What Happened to KHVT 91.5FM Victoria?

It's sister station in Port O'Connor KHPO 91.9 is still on the air, and it simulcasted KHVT 91.5 at least since 2015. I'm not sure when KHVT went off the air, as I listen to the 91.9 station because it comes in clearer for me. Does anyone know when and if KHVT will be back on the air?

Here is the silent request they filed with the FCC back in November.
"THE STATION'S TOWER WAS PARTIALLY DESTROYED BY HURRICANE HARVEY AND THE LICENSEE HAS BEEN UNABLE TO EFFECTUATE REPAIRS AS OF THIS DATE."

That's just sad. It wasn't the only station in TX who got wiped out either. KHCB broadcasts an excellent relaxing Christian format for everyone.

Thanks for getting to the bottom of that, Human.

Yes, it is sad. We lost a lot here on the coast, but we gained a renewed sense of vigor as well. A lot of good came from the storm, and that has to be the silver lining to the disaster that was Harvey.

I think 91.5 is on again now.

It's not back yet, although the signal from KHML sometimes seems to propagate all the way to Victoria during the morning hours. They both have the same programming, and are both on 91.5, but KHML runs nearly 100,000 watts in Madisonville.

KHVT is 46,000 watts.
And it appears to be back on the air. I could hear it very clearly here in San Antonio when some different Victoria stations came in clear the other night.

KHVT is back on the air at full power with a new antenna to replace the one destroyed during Harvey. There is a bit more reworking that will cause a few down hours, but it should be loud and clear.

Nice! I guess then posting on this forum works wonders for downed stations that deserve assistance in getting on again.
