What happened to Kiss' old studios?

ksradiogeek, just curious, why the sudden interest in Seattle radio? In answer to your question, I really don't know, I seem to be out of the loop on this kind of stuf, especially around that time before I knew about this board. I do know a construction worker was working on the place, because someone who had been interview by Jackine and Bender went to the old studios and mentioned a construction worker. What they are using the space for now I have no idea.

I listen to Seattle radio on a daily basis. I do live in Kansas, though I have some family members that live in the area, but don't visit them often due to cost. Radio has always fascinated me.

Haven't been in there. But I imagine old studios for former sister stations make great production studios. And with HD Radio and voicetracking, the extra uses are endless.

But then again, a few dozen cases of Windex and paper towels can fit nicely in those for the janitor......

I helped gather some programming stuff from CBS to CC when the move happened, I spoke with Kristin the Island Girl before they gave her the walking papers and she told me that the studio was just gonna be another production studio.. Never heard anything else about it since. probably empty except for 1 computer like the JACK FM studio which also has a VoxPro that still has 96-5 the point recordings still saved on there if anyone is looking for old 80's and more airchecks.

The Old KISS studios were indeed turned into production studios-all 3 of them. CBS lost space on the 2nd floor so all the production people were all gathered in the old KISS studios.

Kiss had 3 studios? I only remember 2, the main one, and the production room for Jackie and Bender.
