What Happened To KWAM?

This station is a laughable mess.
You can hear Glenn Beck every morning at 8:00 ... er, that is unless the 8:00 hour has been sold to the colon-cleansing infomercial folks.
From 4-6 pm, it's Express Yourself with whack-job Thaddeus Matthews. When Thaddeus is not being indicted for domestic assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, criminal impersonation or extortion, he serves up his own special blend of racist banter.
Thaddeus, whose resume also includes bankruptcy, foreclosure, eviction and non-support, doesn't have a talk show because he is insightful and quick-witted. He's on the air because he pays KWAM $1,500 a week.
He did the same act a few years back on one of Dr. Flinn's glove-compartment AMs. His show ended there, as I'm sure it will at KWAM, when his checks started bouncing. Based on his history, we shouldn't have long to wait.
And how about that weekend lineup at The Big 990? Is it filled with play-by-play sports? Are there lots of gardening and fix-it-up shows? Do we get a block of The Best of Dave Ramsey?
No. Saturday and Sunday are all-Hispanic, all-the-time. El Grande Nueve Noventa!
Legacy Media paid $1.26 million for KWAM.
You think they might want a Mulligan on that one?

Dr. Laura fans will be delighted to hear that they can listen in to her program for an entire 1/2 hour - Monday through Thursday on KWAM. I'll bet they take at least two calls. Friday you are treated to a whole hour (of the 3 hour program).
By the way, the snake oil salesman who takes calls from people giving graphic details of their medical problems - is quite appealing at lunch time.

It hasn't been a bad investment so far for Legacy from what I've heard. They're making money.
I get the impression that KWAM has become the secular equivalent of dollar a holler. 
Earlier during the football season, KWAM was doing Indianapolis Colts games (I guess in honor of all the Peyton Manning fans in this area). I was telling a few friends from my church who were originally from Indiana about it. And then to my shock, one Sunday I get out of church and want to listen to the Colts game, and they're doing Spanish programming. Any idea what happened?
