What Happened to my Favorites (Adobe Audition)

I used to have a tab (when using the single track editor) where my favorite settings were stored. They are still at the top of the creen in a pull down menu, but boo hoo no more tab. Anyone know how I can get it back?

Hungry,

Had you set the tab previously as a default, and if so, have you tried resetting your workspace (in window pulldown)?

Go to the "window" pulldown, select "workspace", select "reset current workspace" (at the bottom of the workspace pulldown). When reset, the factory default views will appear. To the upper left, the "favorites" tab will be partially hidden, but there. It is directly under the word "Generate" on the top bar...if your factory default is the same as most. The tab should have all the plugs you've set to favorites.

I have a bit of a problem myself (though that's not the half of it ;D). I have a couple of scripts set up as favorites in my left-hand favorites panel. Lately, when I double-click one of them, the program won't do anything. However, after double-clicking the favorite, if I attempt to do the task manually, the first effect I attempt to use will automatically run using random settings without me even having a chance to change them or click "OK" or "Cancel" in the effect's properties window.

Any ideas what's going on and/or how I can fix the problem? I really don't feel like doing a re-install, but if I must, where would I find my settings for backup purposes?

Josh,

Hmmm, I say...hmmm. This only happens in your favorites, not under the universal effects tab?

Yes, it's only the favorites. And, not just that, it's only the favorites that run scripts. The favorites that simply run single effects don't have this problem.
