What happened to .....on That 70's Show

I have been watching That 70's Show reruns. I have to wonder what happened to Tanya Roberts (Midge) & Lisa Robin Kelly (Laurie) on the show. Both disappeared before the series ended. Tanya Roberts made a couple appearances later on but the character of Laurie was replaced with a different actress for a couple episodes and then the character was pretty much written out (not quite the Chuck Cunningham treatment).

I noticed that Lisa Robin Kelly's profile is very short on the official website.

Any answers?

Tanya Roberts was all over the radio shilling for Vegas vacation packages a couple years ago...She even guested on Fox Sports Radio in that capacity.

I heard that the reason Tanya Roberts "left" the show for a period of time was that her late husband, Barry Roberts, was terminally ill.

Lisa Robin Kelly was having substance-abuse problems while she was on the show, before she was eventually fired, either for missing a taping, or for having to be sent home because she showed up in no condition to work. Kelly was briefly replaced by a different actress, but since Laurie was 'at college' by then, anyway, it was decided to just quietly leave her there. In the final season, maybe the last episode, Kitty, in one of her scatterbrained moments, says, 'So...where IS Laurie, anyway?', a nod to the 'Chuck Cunnighmam' situation.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have done quite well for themselves after "That 70's Show" went off the air.

Kutcher married Demi Moore and has made numerous movies (none of which I personally have seen) along with hawking a certain digital camera. Kutcher is scheduled to replace Charlie Sheen on "Two and a Half Men."

Kunis meanwhile received rave reviews for her appearance in that movie about ballerinas. (Forgot the title....sorry. But I do remember that the actress who played in Star Wars won an Oscar).

Toper Grace has also appeared in a few movies; notable the last Spiderman flick as one of the villains.

Laura Prepon (Donna) I've seen on a few TV shows, including Castle.

"Kitty" Foreman, Danny Masterson and the actor who played "Fez" I haven't seen or heard about that much. "Red" Forman has appeared as a guest star on a few TV shows like Ghost Whisperer.

Prepon and Valderrama will be regulars in new series this fall. Masterson, from what I've read, has a lot in common with his character, 'Hyde', in terms of political/philosophical views("The man is keepin' me down, man!'), and has acted mostly in 'under the radar' indie films. (Th only other thing I've seen him in was an episode of USA's 'The Dead Zone', around 2006, where he played a conspiracy-theorist internet geek-a 'post-modern' Hyde, if you will. He's also been involved with Scientology, which, if nothing else, gives former TV stars something to do.
Haven't seen Donna Jo Rupp or Don Stark(Bob) since the series ended.

Let's not forget that she's done well providing the voice for Meg Griffin in Family Guy. I know that doesn't take a lot of work (other than getting the voice right), but she was doing that on top of That 70's Show for a while.

I thought Valderrama was supposed to play Ponch in a new TV version or a movie version of "CHiPS"

He already did...sort of. He, along with Danny Masterson and Mila Kunis, appeared in a spoof of CHiPs done on FOX's MAD TV as a sketch.
