He's on a really long trip to Guam.

He was released. Others in here probably know more about it. As far as I've heard. it seemed to be a budget thing.

Never cared for him too much anyway...he never seemed to be enjoying himself...and it was contagious.

The only local I enjoy listening to sports talk from is Ken Broo, but that ain't gonna happen.

They should bring back Andy Furman (sp?). He was enjoyable to listen too.

P Doc was part of the 2nd wave of Budget Cuts by CC a few weeks back that also eliminated all the local shows on 1530 save Lance's Afternoon Show from 3 to 6 pm

So CC has Lance on both Homer and WLW from 3 to 9? What's considered full time work at CC these days? I wouldn't think you could VT a talk show like CC has so much of their talent is doing on their music stations. Mel Fisher here in Louisville co-hosts on WAMZ in the morning, then does voice-tracking for WQMF in the evenings til 9 or later. She is an incredible worker with great talent, working 6 days a week, and a cancer survivor.

You can VT a talk show, though not usually done except in cases of holiday's or vacations.

Lance is on Homer 3-6 then does the inside pitch on WLW on nights of Reds games. When the Reds are off or out west, Mo does Homer 3-6 and Lance does WLW 6-9 or until game time. Scott Sloan does extra innings except Friday nights when its Doc Rogers.

Come to think of it, I have heard Willie VT his Sunday night show in the last hour. Usually its a replay of one of his weekly segments on WLW. The first time I heard it, I thought, this sounds very familiar! My thought on VT is just because you CAN do it doesn't mean you SHOULD!
