What happened to Rob Marinko??

After he was fired at KABC he turned up on the nightly internet 'radio' show of Marc Germain. Now he's apparently been replaced by Dan Avey, with no explanation as to what happened. I expect those kind of unexplained disappearances on commercial radio, but not internet radio. Anyway, anybody know what's up?
