What happened to Sam from Sales on WBAP?

I'm not a radio guy, but I've listened to WBAP for years. And I haven't heard Sam from Sales in a long time. On their "On-Demand" page, the last replay is from February. Did something happen to John Hanson? Just curious.
 
I don't believe it was much more than just retiring the character for a while. I'm sure he'll be back, just like the last time this happened.
