either....
1. someone did not pay their bill ( either for the hosting or the domain )
2. someone hacked the site ( if that happened that would make it 4 times if you count BTVonline )
3. maybe the webmaster had enough of the drama and pulled the plug.
Before SVRTV, the site was known as BTVonline and it seemed that something was going on behind the scenes. Someone got stabbed, another had "emotional problems", poor health, a radio station tried ( and came very close to doing it too ) shutting it down because they didn't want one of their employees to run the site, another station got pissed because an image of their business appeared on the site without their OK, and so on and so on. SVRTV & BTVonline had more drama to it that a whole season of Dynasty !!
oh well !! There is DCRTV !! Love him or hate him, Dave Hughes does do a damn good job with that site and it seems everyone in the biz checks it out. And Dave isn't shy when it comes to speaking his mind. Plus Dave knows radio inside and out. The guy who runs SVRTV sounds like a kid who thinks he knows radio inside and out and he doesnt.
Now for SVRTV, back when they were BTVonline, their two webmasters went on local TV in Winchester and said this to the host ( WINC's Barry Lee ) "..we don't say anything bad about the local radio stations in our market, nor do we post negative emails because we don't want to be sued". I taped this show myself and it was unbelievable !! Have these people ever heard of "freedom of speech"?
DCRTV and VARTV is much better and..well more grown up.
