I honestly think 104.9 is one of the best in this market. I'm more impressed with 104.9 then some of the hip hop stations in Dallas. 104.9 also is one of the top performing stations in this market.
They have a great playlist. Today's hip-hop. An old-school track thrown in once in awhile. I love to listen at night when they do slow jams.
Oh...
That's not unique to 104.9 in this market.
Wilks did that to all their stations, with Syndicated shows in the mornings, two jocks during the day, and syndicated at night. I think KLLL is the exception.
Same thing at GAP.
Welcome to Lubbock radio in 2010. The funny thing is, radio actually sounds better here than it did a decade ago.
My bad. I went back and listened to what recorded and I did hear a female, but still.... A hip hop station with no mixshow on a Saturday night? What's up with that?
